A/C Safety Inspection 

At the furnace
• Check the thermostat wire connections.
• Check the air filter.
• Check the blower motor for dirt / debris.
• Visually check electrical connections.
• Check the A/C condensate drain for slope and tightness.
• Check the floor registers and return air grills for blockage.
• Review with homeowner the operation of the A/C.
• Check the temperature change.
• Run through a complete cycle.

At the condenser

• Check the voltage and amperage of the compressor on the start-up and operation.
• Check the voltage and amperage of the fan on the start-up and operation.
• Check the condenser for any damage.
• Check the electrical component’s connections (screw connections and crimps).
• Check the Freon level.

 

 

A/C Tune Up 

At the Furnace

• All items on A/C safety inspection.
• Level the thermostat.
• Minor cleaning of the blower (Does not include pulling the blower).
• Inspect the evaporator coil.
• Blow out the drains with CO2 gun.

At the Condenser

• All items on A/C safety inspection.
• Clean the outside coil.
• Re-level condenser as needed.
• Clean outside A/C cabinet. Make it shine.

 

Furnace Tune Up 

• All items on furnace safety inspection.
• Level the thermostat.
• Clean the flame sensor.
• Cleaning of the blower in place.
• Clean the air filter box.
• Blow out the drains with CO2 gun.
• Minor cleaning of the burner compartment if needed.
• Vacuum out furnace compartment.
• Wipe down the furnace cabinet. Make it shine.
• Check the plenum and repair minor duct leaks.

 

Furnace Safety Inspection 

• Check the thermostat wire connections.
• Check the fan volts and amp draw.
• Check the safety’s and limits.
• Check all of the electrical component’s connections (screw connections & crimps)
• Check the chimney for proper slope.
• Check the integrity of the chimney.
• Check near the furnace with handheld detector and the house for carbon monoxide with plug in detector.
• Check the heat exchanger.
• Check the flame sensor.
• Check the igniter.
• Check the amp draw on the inducer motor.
• Check the blower motor for dirt / debris.
• Check the combustion motor operation including Amp draw.
• Check the air filter and humidifier pad quality.
• Check the air temp rise.
• Check the condensate drains for slope, rust issues and tightness.
• Check the burner compartment for dirt / soot.
• Check the gas pressures.
• Check the floor registers and return air grills for blockage.
• Run the furnace thru a complete cycle

 

Water Heater Safety Inspection 

• Remove burner from water heater and clean.
• Check the chimney slope .
• Check the chimney integrity.
• Check the draft draw on natural vent units.
• Inspect burner box with Inspector Camera.
• Check the gas pressure.
• Clean the flame sensor.
• Clean the pilot assembly.
•Check near the water heater for carbon monoxide with handheld detector.
